What does it mean to be Loyal?

Loyal is it good or bad. many people think of a good hunting dog as loyal, but what does it truealy mean? Loyal mis a good thing that means you are honest loving and care. You do not disobey your parents and always do the right thing. Also you are a good person in the community. You hepl others and do service work to help people in need. Now that is what loyal means.
